Viz Mizzy: Suites and Themes is a brand new limited edition CD collection, compiling the best music from the composer's career, including music from The Addams Family. All music in this 78-minute collection has been remastered from Mizzy's original studio masters with most tracks being presented here for the first time on CD. The New Addams Family Sweeps the Leo Awards
The disappointment of the cast and crew at the premature and abrupt nature of the cancellation was seemingly vindicated during the 2000 Leo Awards, where The New Addams Family retrospectively won eight awards out of a nominated nine:

Michael Roberds collected Ellie Harvie's award on her behalf, when filming commitments prevented her from attending.  "We are very pleased to see this show receive nine nominations," commented Executive Producer James Shavick at the time of the nominations. "Everyone worked incredibly hard to get sixty-five episodes shot in a year-and-a-half and they deserve this kind of recognition."

The New Addams Family is receiving its first complete screening in the United Kingdom, courtesy of cable channel Fox Kids UK.  Unfortunately a number of content edits have been made to episodes, omitting specific acts of violence. 

To accompany the series broadcast, Fox Kids continue to feature the series in their companion magazine/comic Wickid, and in November participated in a major promotion with the KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) chain of restaurants.  The promotion included special Addams Family children's meals, complete with toys of the characters.  Figurines of Lurch, Uncle Fester, Pugsley and Wednesday were issued over consecutive weeks.
