Other Characters: Danielle Roget 1795, Jenny Collins 1897, Megan Todd 1970, Jessica Loomis Return to Collinwood

The seductive, scheming Eve was created as a mate for Adam from the life force of Danielle Roget, a dangerously powerful and evil force from the past. Eve not only embodied the 18th Century Roget's evil spirit but her hunger for a forbidden past passion. Dissatisfaction at the nature of her reincarnation, she indulges in a sultry spate of appearances around the Collinwood estate, and a dark alliance with the malevolent Nicholas Blair...

Marie Wallace was born on May 19th in a New York City hospital and grew up in the heart of Manhattan. She aspired to the performing arts from an early age, appearing in an Off-Broadway professional production while moonlighting as a model. Her Broadway break came sharing the spotlight with Ethel Merman in Gypsy. After a preview production in Philadelphia, the show ran for a year and a half in New York.

During a brief intermission, Marie worked as a staff actress for NBC in their executive training program. After a only a year, Broadway once again beckoned in an impressive range of productions, including The Beauty Part, Nobody Loves an Albatross, The Right Honourable Gentleman, Sweet Charity, Last Licks, The Women and Mert and Phil.

Between Broadway bows, She kept busy with more Off-Broadway, summer stock, regional and dinner theatre, national tours, commercials and some television. Her five year soap opera stint included roles in Dark Shadows and Somerset, in which she played the role of India Delaney. Marie's small screen appearances continued out in Los Angeles for two years, including filmed commercials, along with guest roles on Fantasy Island and Fame.

Today, Marie continues to reside in New York City. Marie's passion for photography has led to a new profession with clients that include New York Presbyterian Hospital, NYU Medical Center, and Century Center for the Performing Arts. She continues to make occasional appearances in commercials and television, including most recently a guest role on the daytime drama One Life to Live and a cameo in the 2003 film Liberty X.

In 2003, Marie revisited Dark Shadows in the Return to Collinwood reunion audio play. She played Jessica Loomis, wife of Willie Loomis and co-owner of the Blue Whale tavern. Marie maintains an online photo gallery on her personal website located at www.mariewallace.com. In 2005, she published a career memoir, On Stage and In Shadows.

Commercial Break! Jerry Lacy's (Reverend Trask) Humphrey Bogart persona was employed in a series of Right Guard anti-perspirant commercials during the Dark Shadows run. In this spot, Bogie comes to Marie Wallace's aid with a can, saving her from embarassment and undue sweatiness. How gallant... Click on the thumbnails to view the full-size image
