In his human guise, the coarse yet cunning Jeb Hawkes appears at the Todd's Antique Shop in Collinsport to fullfil the Leviathan plans for conquest. Temporary transformations reveal his true form to be a mysterious monster, destroying all in its path. Jeb's love for Carolyn Stoddard precipitates a yearning to remain human and ignites a reason for rebellion. However, his distruction of the cult's focal power leads not to liberation, but a silent shadow of death...

Christopher Pennock was born in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. His birth date is June 7th.

Christopher had wanted to act ever since watching movie greats like James Dean, Errol Flynn, and Marlon Brando as a teenager. From the outset, he wished to incorporate the talents of all three into a style of his own.

Christopher first attended Hobart Collge in Geneva, New York. However, he finished his studies at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. His earliest professional credits included stage productions of several Shakespeare plays, and repertory theater with The Philadelphia Story,Royal Hunt of the Sun, and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. He took Broadway bows for Abelard and Heloise, A Patriot for Me, and Rose Tatoo.

Christopher initially auditioned for the role of Philip Todd on Dark Shadows, only to have creator Dan Curtis quip: "Save him for the thing in the box!" His other daytime drama credits include stints on The Young and the Restless, General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, Somerset and more recently in the role of Justin Marler on Guiding Light.

His prime time television work includes the special The Women's Room, along with guest parts in Silk Stockings, Baywatch, Melrose Place, Simon & Simon, Houston Knights, Hotel, Riptide, The A-Team, Tucker's Witch, Cannon and The Love Boat.

His 1971 debut on the big screen as Gabriel Collins in Night of Dark Shadows in 1971 was followed by appearances in Savages, Basic Training, California Suite, Caged in Paradiso, The Great Texas Dynamite Chase, Running Woman, Unstable Minds and also Frances, alongside Jessica Lange.

Today Christopher lives with his wife Lynn, and their daughter Tara, in California. Since 1998, he has annually published a serialised comic book, satirically depicting his memories of working on Dark Shadows, which he both writes and provides artwork for. Chris continues to perform on stage in the Los Angeles area. He is also a devoted Buddhist, boasting of his own personal Guru, who lives in Wales.

In 2003, Chris reprised Sebastian Shaw in the Return to Collinwood reunion audio play.
