The
traumatised invalid Sabrina Stuart reappears in the life of
her one-time boyfriend Chris Jennings, along with her beligerent
brother, Ned, following a two year absence. Due to a clouded
and devastating incident in their past, Sabrina has been left
with a severe loss of speech and memory, barely able to function.
However, following a revelation spurred by the shadow the
full moon casts over the lives of her and Chris, Sabrina is
able to rebuild some of her shattered life, beginning a quest
to relieve him of the curse that brought so much pain to their
past...
Lisa
Richards was born in Brooklyn, New York. Her birth date
is May 5th. She is sometimes credited as Lisa Blake Richards.
Her
role on Dark Shadows launched Lisa's acting career
in daytime drama, having initially auditioned for the role
of Victoria Winters in 1966. She followed with roles in The
Doctors, One Life to Live, Guiding Light and as Vicki
Hathaway on Where the Heart Is.
Lisa's
stage roles, which span more than three decades across the
United States, include Death of a Salesman, Off on a Tangerine,
The Creditors,The Sky's-A-Fallin', A Streetcar Named Desire,
The Greeks, A Difficult Burning, Tango, The Boyfriend, The
Museum, Dr Faustus, Lemonade, Lay of the Land and California
Seagull. She also took some Broadway bows in Love Suicide
at Scholfield Barracks, Jumpers, Morning Becomes Electra and
Sweet Bird of Youth.
With
House of Dark Shadows in 1970, Lisa made her big screen
debut as Daphne Budd. Her other cinema credits include Silent
Night Bloody Night, The Money, Vern Miller, Rolling Thunder,
Heaven can Wait, The Return, Mr Mom, The Man Who Loved Women,
Scenes from a Goldmine and more recent Eating.
Besides
a State Farm commercial, Lisa's small screen credits boast
numerous telefilms, including Midget Bar, David, Seasons
of the Heart, The Black Widow Murders, Our Sons, When the
Bough Breaks, Growing Pains, Right to Kill, The Atlanta Child
Murders, Who Will Love My Children?, Hellinger's Law, Fear
in the City, Silent Victory: The Kitty O'Neil Story, A Question
of Guilt and The Prince of Central Park.
Lisa's
many guest credits in primetime series include Rafferty,
CHiPs, Eight is Enough, Fantasy Island, Family, The Man from
Atlantis, Quincy, Ryan's Four, Hellinger's Law, Lou Grant,
Falcon Crest, Two Marriages, Call to Glory, Moonlighting,
Highway to Heaven and Hooperman.
More
recently, Lisa Richards portrayed Ethel Dean in the 2001 television
film James Dean.
