Jason reminds Elizabeth of the knowledge he hold about her. Burke and Sam visit Collinwood to confront Roger with the truth about the accident and demand a confession.

Roger is forced to confess that it was him that drove the car that killed a man 10 years earlier, not Burke. Elizabeth is distraught to learn the truth and Roger is left devastated.

Jason visits the cemetery and finds evidence of Willie's handiwork. As dusk falls, Mrs Johnson answers the door to a man claiming to be Elizabeth's cousin, Barnabas Collins.
