Date Change |
November

2002 |
The
2003 Dark Shadows Festival will now take place on
August 29-31 (Labor Day weekend), at the Brooklyn Marriott
Hotel, replacing the previously-announced date of August
8-10.
The
organisers comment: "Due to circumstances beyond its
control, the Dark Shadows Festival has been forced
to change the dates for its 20th anniversary celebration
due to scheduling conflicts with celebrity guests. The Festival
values the loyal continued involvement of the Dark Shadows
actors and has made every effort so that the fans will be
able to enjoy their participation again next year. The Festival
is very sorry for any inconvenience regarding the change
in dates."
Anyone
who has reserved hotel rooms for the original dates must
contact the hotel immediately to change to the new dates,
at the same reduced room rate. Reservations can be called
on 888-436-3759 or 718-246-7000.
Also,
the day after the Festival, Labor Day, September 1, will
see the Festival sponsor a special day-long bus trip to
the filming locations used as the original Collinwood and
Blue Whale in the picturesque town of Newport, Rhode Island.

remembered with a public memorial, to be held on Sunday
December 15, at 12.00pm at the Theatre West, 3333 Cahuenga
Blvd. West, Hollywood, CA. Dennis' tragic death in an October
housefire robbed the acting profession of one its most prolific
