Viewers
of this week's episode of WB show The Gilmore Girls
were treated to an unexpected
nostalgic reference to Dark Shadows. Character Suki
waxed lyrical about getting hooked on repeats of the show,
before sitting down to watch an episode, represented onscreen
with an actual Dark Shadows soundtrack. Matt Czuchry

portrait with the site, taken by his longtime friend and

Nancy explains: "It's a fun shot of Jonathan holding
up the last surviving yellow rose on a vine outside of his
home in Hamilton, Ontario... It's held up through everything,
just like him."

Editor's
Note: Apologies for the lack of recent news updates.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Work and Christmas
managed to eat up most of my time during December, so here's
a roundup of recent developments...
David Selby (Quentin) is currently filming
Black Hole, a new TV movie for Sci-Fi.
The film concerns scientific strife aplently when Long Island
is engulfed by a black hole. Broadcast is expected during
the 2005-6 season.
Next July's Dark Shadows Festival will now
include a Friday outing to the Greystone Mansion,
alias the West Coast's very own incarnation of the Collinwood
estate.
Congratulations to Lara Parker
(Angelique), who has completed her Masters Degree in Fine
Arts. Her new Dark Shadows novel, provisionally titled
Revenge of the Vampire, is due for publication towards
the end of 2005.
Marley Shelton (2004 Vicki) braves the WB
network again in a new comedy pilot from Roseanne
producer Bruce Helford. The show features Marley reflecting
on life as a 25 year old woman in today's world.
Fangoria magazine's feature on the 2004 Dark
Shadows pilot is now out on the newsstands
- be sure to check it out.
